CIA Director Mike Pompeo said his agency was not hiding any intelligence from United States President Donald Trump.
Pompeo's remarks come in the wake of reports that the CIA was keeping secrets from Trump.
The CIA said those reports were blatant lies, used to try and discredit the secret service and the Trump administration.
"The CIA does not, has not, and will never hide intelligence from the President, period," said Pompeo this week.
"We are not aware of any instance when that has occurred," added the CIA director.
What those reports do is suggest that there is a trust deficit between the CIA and the White House. Pompeo dismissed that as being the biggest load of inane, senseless balderdash.
