Four suspected of business robbery arrested with firearms and ammunition

Police responded to a tipoff that the men were planning to rob an unidentified business.

Four men, suspected of being involved in a business robbery at Atlyn Mall in Atteridgiville were arrested by members of the Tshwane West Cluster SAPS Trio Task Team and Attridgiville SAPS on Wednesday.

Police responded to a tipoff that the men were planning to rob an unidentified business.

The quartet, aged between 40 and 58, were driving a red Volkswagen Polo and a white Ford bakkie when they were arrested. Police seized firearms and ammunition, including a norinco, Beretta 9mm pistol.

The suspects are set to appear in the Pretoria Magistrate's Court soon, on charges of possession of firearms and ammunition.
Police say that more charges will be added.
