A British woman is desperately asking the public to assist her in finding her lost teddy bear.
Tracey Jennings is offering a substantial cash reward for her teddy bear that went missing in Cape Town on Saturday.
Jennings' said she last saw Bob at the V&A Marina complex around 14:00 on Saturday afternoon. She said she realised that her "travelling companion" was missing after she dropped her friend off at the airport about three hours later.
She believes Bob must have either fallen out of her handbag or been stolen.
Jennings, a seasoned photographer specialises in wildlife and scuba diving pictures, said that losing the bear felt like she let her best friend and Bob down.
Bob was a gift from a very special friend and holds sentimental value. She said she has had him for 25 years and always took him with her on her travels.
“I know he is just a teddy bear but he was a gift from one of my greatest friends and flatmates at the university who subsequently committed suicide,” she explained.
Jennings has offered a reward R6 500 for his safe return.
