While Emtee is trying to get over the fact that the whole of Mzansi saw his manhood, it seems that not everyone is quite over it yet!
Speaking to DJ Fresh on their Metro FM Breakfast show, Somizi said that Emtee’s mishap could have been avoided. The Idols SA judge said that it is clear to see that the rapper wasn’t surrounded by people who are his “real friends”.
“It worries me when I see a career that is doing well and a talented young man making stupid mistakes because you’re surrounded by fans that are disguised as friends.”
The rapper had fans feeling all kinds of emotions when he gave users a peek at his manhood after going live on Instagram.
But users did not react the way Emtee had hoped they would. Instead, the rapper was rapped over the knuckles for the incident.
Speaking to TshisaLIVE, Emtee said that the incident was a “big mistake”.
According to Emtee, exposing himself was an accident. He claimed that he was in the middle of answering questions from fans when he needed to use the toilet.
“I needed to pee but without thinking I used the same hand I was holding my phone while I was doing my thing and used the same hand to flush,” he said.
After realizing what he had done, Emtee said he apologized for what happened.
