A KwaZulu-Natal farmer is expected to appear in court for allegedly killing a mourner who was attending a funeral on his farm.
The 66-year-old farmer is expected to appear in the New Hanover magistrates court.
According to reports, the man became furious when mourners wanted to bury their loved one on his property. An argument between the farmer and the mourners then erupted.
Things took a deadly turn when the accused asked the mourners to leave.
“When one of the family members tried to intervene, he allegedly shot the 42-year-old victim and he died at the scene due to the injuries he sustained,” Nqobile Gwala said.
