Spokesperson for the EFF, Mbuyiseni Ndlozi, said the hefty sentences handed to Theo Jackson and Willem Oosthuizen were completely justified.
The Freedom Front Plus said it was absolutely outraged by the sentences handed down against ‘coffin case’ duo Theo Jackson and Willem Oosthuizen.
The suspects accused of forcing a man into a coffin and allegedly threatening to pour petrol on the individual are expected to appear in court on Monday.
The matter was postponed by the court, to allow for deliberation. The two suspects, Theo Jackson and Willem Oosthuizen launched an urgent bail application in the court on Thursday.
Before the two farmers accused of assaulting a man and putting him in a coffin are expected to appear in the Middelburg Magistrate Court on Wednesday, members of several political parties protested outside the building.
