The board of state-owned power utility Eskom has denied reports that suspended chief executive officer Matshela Koko has been reinstated.
The DA has denounced reinstated Eskom CEO Matshela Koko’s disciplinary hearing as a sham and said it would be pursuing legal action against him.
Matshela Koko has threatened to spill the beans on all the corrupt dealings that happened at power utility Eskom that he knows of.
Eskom have announced that Cassim Moosa will take over from Sebetja Matsaung as evidence leader in the Matshela Koko disciplinary hearing.
Matsaung was fired after a video of a heated exchange between himself and the deputy editor of the Financial Mail surfaced online.
