Forty-three people have been injured this evening after a truck carrying workers overturned on a farm road in Wartburg, KwaZulu Natal.
ER24 paramedics, along with other services, responded to the scene, close to the R614, where they found the truck down a small embankment on its side.
Occupants that had been on the back of the truck were found seated all along the embankment.
On assessment, paramedics found that 43 people had been injured in this incident. Fortunately no-one had sustained any fatal or serious injuries.
Most of the injuries that were found on scene ranged from minor to moderate.
Paramedics treated the patients for their injuries and thereafter transported them to various in the area for further treatment.
The cause of the incident is not yet known but local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
