Supply at George Airport will return to normal

The fuel supply at George Airport is expected to return to normal in the next few weeks.

Airports Company South Africa (ACSA) says that the airport, which is situated along the Garden Route, has been running low on jet fuel supplies, leading to delays and reroutes for certain flights, but the issue has now been resolved.

Mango says it is working with ACSA to deal with the problem.

Contingency plans have been put in place to remedy the situation.

The airport is receiving fuel supplies from East London and Durban.

Other airlines have reported that they are not having any fuel shortage issues.
