Mugabe’s sons to cough up R780 000 for Sandton apartment damages

President Robert Mugabe’s sons have been living their best and luxurious turn up lives in South Africa. So much so that they find themselves in hot water more often than not. With their latest scandal, they have to pay a lump sum of R780 000 to repair a luxury Sandton apartment.

According to the Daily Sun, Robert Junior and Bellarmine Chatunga were reportedly evicted from The Regent Apartment Hotel during the course of this year, for their “unacceptable behaviour”. After that, they then moved to another hotel, where First Lady Grace Mugabe is alleged to have attacked model Gabriella Engels in last month. The Zimbabwe Independent reports that the two boys were slapped with a bill from The Regent after they “destroyed property and stained carpets” during their stay there.

Quoting an unnamed source, the paper said: “The Regent MCC manager has written to the First Family informing them that R780000 is needed to repair the apartment.”
