Bodies of two children found in Soweto West identified as missing siblings

The bodies of two children found in a veld in Soweto have been identified.

The children were found buried in a shallow grave, with their hands tied and blindfolded in a veld behind Slovoville cemetery on October 1.

Police spokesperson Captain Kay Makhubele said that the children, aged 10 and 11, are siblings that went missing from their home in Kagiso in September.

Makhubele confirmed that their mother’s boyfriend is the main suspect in the matter, but has not yet been arrested or taken in by police for questioning.
