Six suspects nabbed with dagga worth R1.7 million

Police have arrested six suspects for possession of dagga worth R1.7 million in Cradock, Eastern Cape.   

According to a police report, members of the Cradock Cluster Operational Command Centre personnel stopped and searched the identified vehicle on the N10, National road, en route to Cape Town. 

Six suspects, between the ages of 18 and 42 years, were found in possession of 557 kilograms of dagga.

During the operation, a Quantum minibus taxi and trailer were also confiscated, which was used to transport the illicit drugs.

They will appear in the Cradock Magistrates Court soon.
