No arrests made in Jesse Hess and grandfather murder case

Police have confirmed that no arrests have yet been made following the murders of Jesse Hess and her grandfather, Chris Lategan

The 19-year-old student and her 85-year-old grandfather were brutally killed at their home in Parow, Cape Town. 

According to reports, Jesse was raped and murdered. 

Jesse was found on her bed, while her grandfather was found tied to a toilet in their home. 

Jesse was laid to rest at the weekend and her grandfather's funeral is set to take place this weekend. 

Her aunt, Sandy Hess said that fingerprints were found but police were still searching for a suspect. 

"What we do know is that no arrests were made, and nobody has come forward. They found fingerprints and they’re still searching for suspects."

"That’s all we know at this point," Sandy said.
